The significance of Ras is unison of Paramatma (the Supreme Spirit) and Jibatma (the individual soul). Each individual soul emerges from the Supreme spirit and at the end also merges with Supreme Spirit.

ॐ पूर्णमदः पूर्णमिदं पूर्णात्पुर्णमुदच्यते
पूर्णश्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते ॥
